Abstract

Pengabdian ini menjawab permasalahan rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan dan kesiapan siswa serta guru di SMA Negeri 1 Padamara dalam menghadapi risiko bencana gempa bumi. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis warga sekolah mengenai mitigasi gempa bumi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif berbasis kerangka Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) yang dilaksanakan pada 18 Juli 2025 sebagai bagian dari Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) dengan peserta 15 guru dan 280 siswa kelas X. Kegiatan meliputi sesi sosialisasi dan simulasi evakuasi. Keberhasilan program diukur melalui kuesioner persepsi pasca-kegiatan dan observasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan persepsi yang sangat positif dari peserta, dengan skor rata-rata manfaat materi untuk keamanan diri sebesar 4,56 dan efektivitas penyampaian sebesar 4,67 (dari skala 5). Secara kualitatif, seluruh peserta berhasil mempraktikkan prosedur evakuasi sesuai SOP. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya kesadaran kolektif dan meningkatnya kapasitas sekolah dalam merespons bencana, sebagai langkah awal menuju Sekolah Aman Bencana.
