Pelatihan Program Mendeley untuk Karya Tulis Ilmiah bagi Siswa SMK Swadaya Semarang

Abstrak
Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kapasitas siswa di SMK Swadaya Semarang dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah melalui pemanfaatan aplikasi manajemen referensi Mendeley. Latar belakang kegiatan adalah masih rendahnya keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola sitasi dan daftar pustaka, yang menghambat kualitas karya tulis ilmiah mereka. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan langsung (workshop) yang mencakup instalasi aplikasi, pengelolaan referensi, sitasi otomatis, dan praktik penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan Mendeley dan menyusun referensi karya tulis secara lebih sistematis. Luaran kegiatan antara lain panduan penggunaan aplikasi, minimal satu karya tulis ilmiah siswa menggunakan Mendeley, dan rekomendasi untuk sekolah agar terus mengintegrasikan manajemen referensi dalam bimbingan karya tulis. Kesimpulan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan manajemen referensi dengan Mendeley efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi ilmiah siswa SMK, dengan saran agar kegiatan lanjutan dilaksanakan secara rutin dan didukung perangkat teknologi serta pembimbing yang kompeten.
